International Mission Board (IMB) The IMB is the largest international missionary sending organization in the world. Through the cooperation of local SBC churches the IMB has 5,300 missionaries, working with over 1,100 people groups around the world. Mt. Zion is proud to have one of its own members serving as a full time missionary with the IMB. She works in an area of the world where due to security risks we cannot disclose her identity or location. Please pray for her. North American Mission Board (NAMB) NAMB currently supports 5,100 missionaries in the United States, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, Amercan Samoa, and U.S. Virgin Islands. They are primarily involved in church planting, evangelism, and the mobalization of volunteers. Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) The MBC is involved in church planting, evangelism, and church resourcing in the state of Missouri. Clay Platte Baptist Association (CPBA) The CPBA serves as a church and mission resource center made up of cooperating churches in Clay and Platte Counties. Master's BuildersThe Master's Builders are a self directed ministry of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Through the ministry we provided free hand's-on hammer and nail construction to other ministries across the U.S.Works of GraceWorks of Grace is a self directed international ministry of Mt. Zion. Through Works of Grace we provide construction and ministry assistance to churches and ministries throughout the world.Oneighty MissionsThe youth ministry of Mt. Zion provides students with the opportunity to serve through Oneighty Missions. Each summer we join with Global Encounter ministries to serve in inner city ministries. While on mission students perform Vacation Bible Schools and other ministry projects.Valley View Food KitchenOn the third Wednesday of each month Mt. Zion members travel to the Valley View food kitchen in St. Joseph. Following the command of Jesus to "love our neighbors" and the example of the early church, Mt. Zion provides hot meals to the needy. |

The Bible is very clear that Christians are called to spread the good news (the gospel). Mt. Zion currently uses 19% of all gifts (unless otherwise designated) to fund various missions endeavorsin the U.S. and around the world.
